So here’s the thing. I don’t consider myself a Christian. I stopped going to church around two years ago, and I had no intentions of ever going back. I greatly disagree with many things about the religion and I don’t like the Bible, nor do I like the overall attitude and atmosphere (not trying to generalize here, but let’s be honest; a lot of “Christians” are hypocritical dicks).
However, I’ve been offered the opportunity to do lighting and maybe set design for my old church. This would be really great experience to go on my resume, and I could learn a lot from the current tech guy who I’m told used to work for Disney.
But it will probably be super awkward for me to be working at a church when that’s a part of my life I wanted to leave behind.
What do I do?????
